Ann H. Osceola first Florida Seminole Nation Baha’i

Ann Osceola declared as a Baha’i in 1959. According to Baha’i News October 1959 on page 12 in a photo caption: “Reading to Seminole Indian children is newly declared believer Mrs. Ann H. Osceola. who has a working knowledge of their language. All live in a village several miles west of Miami, Fla. Mrs. Osceola’s husband, a prominent Indian, serves on the Tribal Council.”

Ann Osceola was born July 15, 1917 and died October 1977 in Miami, Florida.
